Friendlies are towers available in Antidote, and they are summarized here. The basic defensive tower is the White cell. The player uses Differentiation to change these cell walls into tier 1 towers, differentiation costs sugar. Tier one towers can be upgraded one more time, into more specialized, generally more powerful tier 2 towers. Towers can also be "downgraded" - this is situation specific, a lymphocyte may be more effective than an NK on some levels. Friendly units have a wide range of behaviors which the player must combine to effectively defeat Enemies.

Range finding[ | ]

Friendly towers in Antidote have effects that are based on their hexagonal neighborhood. Friendly cells have an obvious hex in which they lie, enemies are in the hexagon directly under them (only one).

Hierarchical friendly unit summary[ | ]

  • The Stem cell - The starting point of all defenses.
    • White cell - Blocks enemy movement. Spawned by the Stem cell.
      • Little Eater (Monocyte)- Far more resilient than basic cell wall. Eats anything, but quite slowly. All T2 forms also have boosted HP.
        • Big Eater (M1 Macrophage) Eats anything that passes by, and at a decent rate.
        • Sleepyhead (M2 macrophage) Boosts neighboring cells' health. Boosts sugar production in neighboring sugar producers.
        • Grabalot (Myeloid Dendritic) - "passes" enemies and allows neutrophils to transfer between stations.
      • Miley Blast (Myeloblast) Generates sugar when at rest. Agitated by Enemies when not influenced by Basophil. All T2 forms also generate sugar when idle.
        • Snot Factory (Neutrophil) Spawns neutrophils which hover around. Each neutrophil can either instakill one bacteria or repair one HP to a friendly cell.
        • Basophil Prevents other friendly units from attacking Allergens and friendly bacteria like Gefilus. Speeds friendly units. Provides advanced targeting (e.g. neutrophil should hit highest hp bacteria first)
        • GM Eosinophil (Eosinophil) GM/scifi cell which attacks bacteria with antibiotics.
      • Slöh (Lymphocyte) (or lymphoid progenitor) Slows enemies within one hex. Has a very slow pulse attack that destroys toxins. All T2 forms also have slow field.
        • Bee Zell (B cell) Splatters enemies within a 1 neighborhood with antibodies (affects only one enemy antigen type per shot). Very slow fire rate.
        • Tea Zell (T Cell) Promotes nearby friendly units, boosting speed/damage/health.
        • Nurse Killegh (NK cell) Infinite range "healer" (cough cough euthaniser) cell that cures viruses and restores lost HP.
